It’s compact and lightweight, but took quite a hit when it was hit against a wall in my house �� It has fenders that snap into place with the propellers to protect them if you hit anything. It’s a lot of fun learning to operate it with the remote, which can be easily connected to your phone via the app. It takes a few tries to move it proficiently, but once you get the hang of it, you have amazing control. You can easily take photos and videos that go straight to your phone’s camera roll. There are red lights for the front of the drone and green lines for the back, so you know what direction you’re facing when shooting. I’m excited to try it outside during the day! Just make sure the wind is light when you do this. The manual says “make sure the wind is not higher than level 3 during operation”. I’m not sure what that is, but my guess is 5 miles per hour or less.
